Conventional oil is still the right call for plenty of the cars we see: older engines designed for it, low-mileage town cars, and anyone stretching a budget. It protects just fine — it simply needs changing more often, usually every 3,000 to 5,000 miles.
You get our full service either way: new filter, up to 5 quarts, washer fluid topped off, and a look at your belts, wipers, tires, and visible fluids.
It works, but it thickens below zero, so cold starts are harder on the engine. If your car sleeps outside, we'd point you toward a synthetic blend — a small step up in price for a real step up in cold-flow.
